I don't make journals often, why I haz no idea, maybe I'm too preocupied with juggling MySpace, Facebook, AIM, and DA all at the same time ^__^"

So yup highskoolz been alright so far, lots of things have changed since I started attending. Of course I'm not anti-social so I know many ppl and have many things to do on weekends now. Speaking of which yesterday was Halloween and it wasn't as boring as usual . Went over to an amiga's casa and hanged, went around the block with some more pplz and then came back to watch Blood+ Live Action Movie, in other words awesome night and I had a sick ass costume (add me on FB or MS to view it). Lovelife wise it's been a bit weird. I had a GF since 9/26 but things happened and right now we're on a so called "space" period and it may or may not come back to being completely together again. I don't mind as long as she's happy, I just don't wanna see her get hurt is all ^_^ 'cause fer some reason her mum says like I'm the most respectful/well educated guy she's dated so far, so that's a plus. And even if we don't get back together we'll always be bestfriends anyways
Lol i made a promise to her mum to give her LP songs on discs, sounds simple right? WRONG. She wanted everysong I had, and I have everysong they do have. In total from compressing it and not letting it loose it's quality it was burnt onto 4 discs. I wanted 3 but the last 4 songs left f***ed that up so yeah :/ I'm also a real dunce on selecting which type to burn onto CD-Rs. It was either MP3 CD or Audio Disc with text and song info, I choose the latter but my Opticaldrive is retarded and didn't write the info when I was burning 'em in iTunes 9 -___-" Oh well, at least I made it look pretty by printing labels on 'em using my kick ass printer/scanner (needs ink badly). In all it took me 9hrs, 4 for figuring out how to get the most onto 1 disc and the other 5 for designing the labels on PrintShop2.

Well nm has happened this summer except a whole lot of nothingness and errands, ugh. But oh well. Still trying to mess w/Pixelmator for my designing and stuff.
I finally founf out where I'm going for Highskool though. It's called Felix Varela Senior High. It became a Magnet skool so it has some pretty damn fine academies. I wanted to do the Academy of Visual Arts (Photography, Graphic Design) but that was full so I got the Academy of Information Technology instead (has Networking, CISCO, Web Design, and I think programming? i forget, lmao)

Oh dudes, this guy I know on Youtube is giving away a new 13" MacBook Pro. He needs 250+ subscribers to do the giveaway so go to his channel and enter guys. Also say "refered by grimAXY" in the comments, would help me oh so much (grimAXY is my Youtube account). If I'm able to win, I won'y be keeping it though, since I'll give it to someone who's in dire need of a comp. My notebook should last for maybe another year so I won't be selfish

So yeah it's been a pretty dull week that just passed and I have done really nothing this week. There was like one day I spent it w/my cuz's and went into the pool but that's really it. Parents aren't getting along as I want to, to muhc drama in my life, wish it was more peacefull. I finally know now where I'm going for HighSchool though, so thats a relief. I wish I can go see "her" (not naming for obvious reasons), however she is back in WI and her phone's most likely that. Plus sinc her father accidently stepped on the top of her notbook screen (it was folded closed) it made dead pixels, and it still works but the screen fucked. I told her to either fix it or get a new notebook, and recently a just read a an article and it would be as just expensive replacing the screen then getting a new Notebook. :/


CYBERLIFE:
So as you all know the new iPhone OS 3.0 was relaesed and last Friday the iPhone 3G S was relaesed, I'm eligable for upgrading but I think I should just wait till next year's model. And what's weird is, is that 3.0 has made my Startup/Sutdown time increase a bit. And I can no longer forequit apps (holding down the Home button while in an App)so my RAM get drained a bit faster than I want. I'm gonna try to restore it to factory settings then reinstall 3.0.

On the comp side of things, I'm really liking the path Apple's going w/the upgrading and price cuts, however my father won't get me a Mac anytime soon and SnowLeopard may introduce some Spec updates, so I'll wait and see. Plus, like this video I watched from a Subscription on YouTube, '09 is kind of a bad year to buy comps. With USB 3.0 coming maybe around next year, along with Bluetooth 3.0, and SSD getting more affordable, i may just wait for that. Because that is a new era of computing, and we are starting to get out of the old era.

As you all know I make icons and graphic stuff on my DA (less though because of everything going on in life). And a lot of it was when I had WindowsVista (ugh). Now I have Windows 7 and Mac OSx86 Leopard. On Leopard there's an app called Pixelamtor, a free graphic utility that is like Photoshop but more easier to use (though not for me because I'm still learning it). After I get the jist of how t use it well I'll make more icons aand such.

Another thing I can ask of you guys is if you know any good Icon makers for OS X? Most of the times I only see Mac icons in one size (512x512) and then it's made into an ICNS or whatnot and the smaller the resoultion goes the sicon just becomes scalled down. A lot of you know Icons look different on Windows or even the built in icons on Mac when it gets smaller or larger.

So does anybody have good experinece with Photoshop and knows any good free (or low cost) Icon maker app for Mac OS X?

Hey wats up DA! Yup it's the 3rd week of summa I think and this week has been pretty great. Met up w/"her" Sunday w/a bunch of friends. Monday was a pool partae, had to do some things on Tues and Wed hanged out w/my other group of friends. Today is the second last day I see her (if I do see her today). Monday, which is also her bday, is the last day I see her. So yeah that and my best bro, who I've known for about 8yrs, is leaving to Texas this Sat TT_TT. dang, oh well. Hope the rest of the summa keeps on going great.

Okay I have Win7 and OS X now working flawlessly w/each other. Yes! I'm psyched about SnowLeopard, iPhone 3.0, and pissed how much it costs for existing 3G owners to get the iPhone 3G S. Also w/the Macbook Pros going waaay down in price I may just get one once SnowLeopard is out, finally!

Okay so far I've been out of skool since the 29th of May, not much has happened since then. Been pretty bored here. Well I'm glad though that soon she'll be down here, though it's only a week it doesn't matta, as long as she's here. Though she may not come due to the fact that her mom says if she has 1 C she won't be able to visit, she has a C+ in Math (82 and it went down to 79 last time I heard) and she graduates in 2 days -___-. Well I'm hoping for the best.

Okay I've gotten so pissed off with Vista I decided to install Win7 RC1, and let me tell you it works flawlessly. Though after installing Win7 it over writed the OSx86 bootloader meaning I'll have to install it again, no problem right? Wrong. After it installs I reboot and right after the BIOS screen comes up (black/blue beginning screen) it says boot0: error. It didn;t install right, so I was like WTF? I decided to reinstall it, this time w/the disc in the drive, instead of going into the installer it takes me to the normal OS X boot, it's like I can't use my comp unless I have the disc in. So i was like f**k I have to wipe this drive and my Windows drive and reinstall Win7. So I did just that, went back into the installer and same thing happened again, this time though IAT FUCKING DELETED MY RECOVERY PARTITION! I was like WHAT?! So yeah after 2nd time it didn't work I reinstalled 7 a THIRD time, wiping my drives clean (don't worry, I have a backup) and making only 2 partitons, 100GB Windows, 132GB other (for eventually OS X, 8 of that 132 used to be the recovery partition). So far I only have 7 installed, I can't revert to Vista, and I'm afraid if I install OS X again I'll be screwed like the last times and since I've already entered my Office 07 key 3 times already ( 1Vista, 2Win7) I'm worried if I try again my key would be useless. ugh -_____-

Anyways thats what going on so far, oh I've been recently playing my old Sonic games here and there for the hell of it, I hope I don't revert back to my old ways (6th grade and before) where I constantly played video games wherever I was (home and on-the-go). Ahhh!
